Private farm in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina. Stalls open to access over 10 acres of lush grazing. Plenty of forest to provide shade as well as two creek accesses. large indoor tack /grooming area, large round pen, plenty of trailer parking, and dogs welcome! 5 miles to Stone Mountain State Park horse trails, or ride off the farm to access the local trail system. All horses are turned out together and are only contained in stalls for feeding. Hay is provided and available at all times, as well as grazing 24-7 . Board includes hay and my care. . I have been rescuing and rehabilitating horses and ponies since 1994. I relocated from Northern Idaho to NC in 2007. I traveled cross-country hauling my family of 4 horses and two ponies. Over the years, many rescued horses and ponies have graced my farm. My family of horses is now gone, all lived well into their 30's. I am down to two horses. A 36-year-old gelding rescued in 2020 and a 15-year-old gelding rescued in 2024. I have 4 available stalls and plenty of room for pasture board. I am available to work with rescue organizations that need temporary placement, as long as I am not financially responsible. I have a beautiful horse paradise to share and hope to find a few like-minded horse people in need of a safe home for their beloved equine. Summer board @ $275 per month, Winter board@$350. Price includes hay, you supply feed.
