Winter's Night Farm / Horse Boarding Farm in Cohocton, New York
Winter’s Night Farm has boarding openings in Cohocton NY! ??? We offer full care stall or field board, as detailed below. Our facility has a large barn with grooming bays, a heated lounge and bathroom, a lighted 60x130’ indoor arena, barrels and a full set of show jumps that can be set up in the arena or jump field, and trail obstacles. We have 100 acres and access to dozens of miles of trails, fields, and dirt roads to ride out on from the farm! There is an outdoor round-pen and dressage arena with grass footing available seasonably. We foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with boarders of all levels and disciplines. We are a family run operation and have many years of experiences professionally working in horse care. The owners live on-site and conduct daily checks of each horse’s body/wellness. Our farm is conveniently located between Hornell and Cohocton.
Board details:
?Stabled in a 12x12 stall with mats, pine bedding, fan in summer, heated bucket, and cleaned daily. Turned out half the day (nights during the summer, day during the winter)
?Turnout in small groups in large pastures with auto water/heated tanks, run in sheds, and round bales during the winter. We added 6 acres of additional pasture and a new 30ft run in shed this year!
?Grain of your choice fed 2x per day, along with any supplements provided. Fed ample 2nd or 1st cut hay while in stall.
?Includes blanketing, applying fly spray, masks, ect. throughout the seasons.
?On-site skilled and experienced farrier, but welcome to use your own.
?Outside trainers are welcome as long as they are insured.
