de Luna Farm / Horse Boarding Farm in Callahan, Florida

We welcome riders of all ages and levels to de Luna Farm. We board horses, we are not a lesson barn. Our small multi-disciplinary, family-owned and operated private boarding facility on 11 acres in Callahan, Florida, offers full board in our newly built Amish barn or partial board. Conveniently located just minutes to Jacksonville, Yulee, or Amelia Island for beach riding or Cary State Forest and Four Creeks State Forest for trail riding. Approximately 30 minutes to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

Partial board (owner provides hay, grain, supplements, and we will feed twice daily) in the front grass pasture, approximately 3 acres, four board fencing, its own new shed with small attached deck for tack and feed, fully matted 12x12 stalls with lights, fans, bug lamp, matted tack/wash bay and full use of the riding facilities. The pasture board is for two horses max.

Full board in the barn includes feed, hay, water, and clean stalls daily. We will feed daily supplements (Smartpak recommended), administer medications, and fly spraying (owner provided).

Our barn was designed for optimal airflow and to keep horses comfortable in the Florida heat. Each stall is fully matted with low dust shavings, dutch windows, and doors and equipped with its own light and high-velocity stall fan. Some stalls offer an attached sand run (12x16) for an additional fee. We offer an indoor heated and cooled water wash rack, generous tack room, and lounge with a refrigerator and a microwave in the loft above the barn. Large grass arena 210 X 90 (large dressage court to come) and extra large clay round pen.

For peace of mind, we have security cameras inside and outside the barn, smoke detectors linked to the owner’s cell phones, and designated barn. Please, no cribbers, weavers, kickers, biters, or stallions.

You may bring your own trainer.
