The Backyard Barn / Horse Boarding Farm in Hoover, Alabama

Small barn with 6 stalls offering horse boarding. Horses are stalled and turned out daily (day or night) if desired, weather permitting. Current boarders include show horses along with trail horses. Stalls have rubber mats, lights with timers to ensure those slick hair coats year round, high velocity fans, and a fly misting system. Hot water wash stall, coastal bermuda hay and premium grain fed twice daily, large stalls, customized turnout in multiple pastures to meet your needs, day or night on lush established pastures. Rye grass planted in winter for winter grazing. Riding arena with sand footing which drains quickly, as well as trails. Tack room has dehumidifier, along with individual cabinets provided for personal horse supply storage. Comfortable lounge seating area with refrigerator stocked with water, Gatorade and refreshments included with board. Barn washing machine for blankets, pads, polos & misc. Daily Blanketing as weather requires. Horses are fly sprayed daily before turnout. Primary discipline is Reining, Western Dressage & Ranch Riding, but all are welcome. You will find a fancier barn, but you will not find better care. Horse owner and caretaker for over 25 years. Fat horses that shine. Fluffy shavings. Fun relaxed barn where we encourage each other and are focused on goal oriented riding. Horse transportation available. References available. Dog friendly.
