WindCrest Farm is conveniently located north of Washington DC, close to Gaithersburg, Germantown and Frederick, Maryland. We are directly off of I-270. We pride ourselves in being a private,quiet facility dedicated to Dressage. WE host schooling shows and clinics with National and International FEI trainers/instructors. We also have a popular in-house clinics on a variety of educational subjects. The owners, Dede and Peter Bierbrauer live and manage the facility with their professional staff. Dede is an R Dressage Judge, FEI trainer and instructor with a German classical background. Peter teaches and works with young horses. He was a German event rider before coming to the United States. We will soon be adding another professional who will also teach and specialize in working with young horses. Our facility is set up for complete training: full size indoor with new footing-two viewing rooms--sky lights for natural lighting--ceiling fans and windows for air flow. Our out door Dressage arena is sand/rubber footing and both rings are daily manicured. We have a large area for hacking and hills for fitness training. We are located in the middle of agriculture preserve and local parks for extensive hacking. Our stall sizes vary: 12x12, 12x16, 10x17. We have turn-out for all horses: private, semi-private or fields for groups of four. We also have special turn-out for horses with special needs: IR, various health or exercise issues. Our individual care does not stop at turn-out, we have a equine nutritionist for a custom mix. We will feed whatever the horse needs to stay healthy and fit. We have custom training and lesson programs for our clients. We cater to all riders at all levels. We provide coaching and transportation to recognized shows as well as local schooling shows.
