WindCrest Farm is conveniently located within 30 miles of Washington DC, Gaithersburg, Germantown and Frederick Maryland. WE pride ourselves in being a private,quiet,but active facility dedicated to Dressage. We host schooling shows and clinics with National and International riders/instructors! We also have popular in-house clinics on a variety of educational subjects. Owners--Dede and Peter Bierbrauer live on the facility and manage the professional staff. Dede is an "R" Dressage judge, FEI instructor/trainer and Peter teaches up to FEI. He also teaches lunging and long lining. We will be soon adding another professional who will teach/train and specialize in the training of the young horse. Our facility is set up for complete training and comfort! There is a full size indoor arena with two viewing rooms, wash rack with hot/cold water and heat lamps for winter, 4 tack rooms and storage area. The indoor has: new footing [2016], skylights for natural lighting, audio system, ceiling fans and open windows for air flow! Our outdoor Dressage arena is sand/ rubber. Both arenas are manicured daily. We have a large hacking area--hills for fitness training. We are surrounded by agriculture preserve land and local parks for extensive hacking. Our stalls vary from 12x12, 12x16, 10x17. We have daily turn-out including individual,semi-private and fields for groups of four. We have special turn-out paddocks for horses with health issues: IR, Cushings, or any need to have specialized turn-out. We have custom feeding designed by our equine nutritionist--however we feed what the individual horse needs! We have custom designed training and lesson programs. We cater to all riders at all levels! We do provide transportation and coaching at all major recognized shows as well as the local schooling shows!
