Gentle Hill Farm is a 48-acre horse farm and riding school in Albany, Ohio. The farm is a serene, park-like setting at the end of a quiet, dead-end road, minutes from the bridle paths, horse camping, and other recreational opportunities at Lake Snowden, and 9 miles from Athens, Ohio.

Riding instruction year-round. Farm co-owner Katie Aiken is certified by the internationally recognized American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) at the highest level (Level 3) in both Dressage and Recreational Riding (www.riding-instructor.com). Katie is the only ARIA-certified Level 3 dressage instructor in Ohio, and has been teaching horseback riding professionally since 1992.
Summer day camp programs to teach stable management and horsemanship skills as well as riding.
New 20 by 60 meter outdoor turf arena. New 20 by 40 meter indoor arena.
Full-service boarding is available, with preference given to our students.
