I am trained in the methods of the Spanish Riding School by senior SRS masters. I am a certified Classical Dressage Riders Assoc trainer/test administrator to Grand Prix level as well as a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and have won over 80 National USDF Year End Awards. My competitive training was with Dr. Max Gahwyler for 20+ years. Max was trained at the Spanish Riding School by Hans Handler, Ernst Bachinger & Karl Mikolka. I have also worked with Spanish Riding School masters Arthur Kottas, Hans Riegler, Ernst Bachinger, Hubert Rohrer and Karl Mikolka.
My school horses are very calm and safe for beginners. Equally, they can handle the more challenging upper level movements of classical dressage with advanced riders. The riders at my farm have fun and are very supportive of each other.
I am available seven days per week with flexible times. Half hour and one hour private lessons are available on my schoolmasters. Half hour lunge lessons are available. Books of six lessons for the price of five are available for those who wish to save 17%.
This is not a run of the mill lesson program commonly found in our country today. I offer correct, classical training taught in a way that allows the rider to develop confidence while being safe and having fun. Focus is on development of a correct, independent seat regardless of discipline and we build the rider’s skills from that base understanding of the gaits, use and timing of the aids. Many of my students are trainers at other stables which I especially enjoy as it allows me to reach more riders through them. I am also available for clinics as time allows.
