Blackshire is a full service Minnesota boarding, training, lesson, breeding and sales facility specializing in all breed competitive dressage as well as beginning jumping lessons. We offer quality lessons on amazing schooling horses including Friesians, Irish Draughts, Irish Sporthorses, Warmbloods (Trakhener, Selle Francais), Haflinger. If you are looking to learn dressage in a friendly yet competitive oriented atmosphere we attend many schooling and recognized dressage shows throughout the Midwest region every year. We offer box stall, paddock and pasture board (mare only pasture board) in large safe paddocks and pastures. In addition we offer stallion services from the two Friesian Stallions Zorro and Hessel; the 17.2H Approved Irish Draught stallion Beeston Laird and we will be introducing for 2013 the Holsteiner stallion Anthony (Alijano x Ranteres breeding). We are situated on almost 100 acres and offer families a place that is student/client friendly.
