Sand Hill Farm of Ballston Spa, NY, is owned and managed by Merilyn and Philip Baker. Located on 34 acres of beautiful rolling pastures, manicured lawns and scenic ponds, and nestled in the peaceful countryside of the town of Galway. Our historic farm is just 15 minutes from the world renowned resort towns of Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa.

Sand Hill Farm offers year round horse boarding, leasing and lessons for those interested in English, and Western riding.

We offer an equine retirement package for your senior horses as well as full stall board or pasture board for all others. Contact us to discuss your needs.

For boarders and lesson clients, we offer use of our 60' round pen and 60' X 150' outdoor riding arena. Included is access to plenty of trails and fields!

Our neat and clean barn is home to a charming assortment of friendly and curious equines - including Morgan horses, mini mules, mini donkeys as well as a few ponies and a variety of cherished "guests" - the horses owned by our boarders.

We at Sand Hill Farm provide a hands on experience for your horse. We give your horse lots of love and attention and we pride ourselves on having a stress free barn.

SHF is very family oriented! Our facilities include a large lighted pavilion with microwave, grill and refrigeration, comfortable overstuffed outdoor patio chairs and tables with umbrellas, free standing shade gazebos, and a selection of family friendly lawn games for your entertainment. The pavilion is available by reservation for family gatherings, group picnics, weddings and more.

Looking for an economical and charming "overnighter'? Enjoy our spotless 30' RV complete with queen size bed, kitchenette, bath and more... a private retreat right here on our lovely farm! Please inquire for our seasonal overnight, weekend and weekly rates. Campsites also available.
