Rockingham farm is everything a professional farm should be. Keeping your horse with us is like having him/her in your own backyard - except someone else provides exceptional care! Lets face it, equestrians are a special breed - both the riders and horses. You expect that you and your horse will be treated in a manner that only the discerning experienced rider can appreciate. Your horse is treated as a pet - not an animal. Care of your horse is our first priority no matter what the season. If your horse needs 3 blanket changes in a day during the winter - he gets it. In the summer, your horse gets plenty of cold water every morning as we do not let the buckets sit overnight and warm up. It's the little things that count in a barn. The care we provide is exceptional and unlike other barns, we don't skimp on fresh shavings, hay or grain. We also treat our human clients the same way. From the saddle pad fairy who miraculously keeps your saddle pads clean (if you leave them in the right place) to the air conditioned lounge, comfort for our boarders is our other top priority (sorry - horses first). There are also amenities galore at our facility. From the 60' round pen to the indoor 75 x 150 arena you never have to worry about the weather as there is always a place to ride or train your horse. We have miles of trails on the property and our 120 x 240 regulation Dressage outdoor arena has the same footing as the Raleigh Fairgrounds for training purposes. Our facility is always impeccably clean and we are on the property to pamper you and your horse. Obviously, all 12 x 12 stalls are matted as are the aisleways. Our wash stalls are heated and have overhead hoses to make caring for your horse as easy as possible. Many of the stalls have attached outdoor runouts and we have 11 large pastures on the property which allows a 2 horses per paddock arrangement.
