Grandcorsa Farm / Horse Boarding Farm in Elgin, Illinois

Grandcorsa Farm is a small hunter jumper barn located within McCarthy Farm in Elgin. Our students range from first time riders to students that compete at local horse shows. Safe and seasoned show horses available for lessons, shareboarding, and horse showing. We also welcome Girl Scout Troops! Call to inquire about 2011 Summer Camp!

Two Arenas
- 64’ x 200’ lighted indoor with custom footing
- 200’ x 180’ outdoor divided in half for jump and dressage/ground work/flat work
Heated barn with large stalls

All stalls are Ag Lime with rubber mats and wood shavings

Stalls are cleaned every day

In-floor heating

Rubber mats in walkways

Heated viewing room with vending machines

2 bathrooms, one with shower

2 indoor wash stalls with hot and cold water; 1 outdoor
wash stall

Automatic waterers in all stalls

Horse turnout 6 days a week with option for Sunday turnout

Horses have dirt and grass paddocks – group size from individual to 5

Hay is set out for horses when they are turned out in dirt paddocks

Heated water outside in winter

Hay and Safe Choice Pellets fed twice daily

Hay is made by owner at his farm in Burlington and is stored away from horses for safety

Owner lives on property for additional security
