Oakwood Equestrian Center / Horse Boarding Farm in Auburn, Maine

Oakwood Equestrian Center is located on 200 acres near Lake Auburn. Our primary focus is dressage and combined training. We have a HEATED 60'x 180' indoor arena!!! There is an attached heated observation room, with bathroom and washing machine. Our outdoor arena is 75'x 225' and is adjacent to a 5 acre field for schooling and a 70 acre field for gallops! We have excellant footing both inside and out. There are also many trails on preserved land.

Your horse will receive excellant care. Turnout consists of dirt paddocks as well as grass pasture. Horses receive hay 5 times/day and grain 2 times. We produce our own hay and offer both first and second cut. We use pine bedding in stalls not sawdust.

We are a small quiet facility with a friendly atmoshpere. We offer lessons as well as training for you and your horse. And offer instruction from beginner thru 4th level. We also have excellant school horses available thru 4th level. We do compete thruout the summer both locally and regionally.

There is someone on grounds 24 hours and the barn manager lives in an apartment attached to barn. The owner also resides on premises.
