McCullom Lake Farm / Horse Boarding Farm in Mchenry, Illinois

In the heart of McHenry, next to Peterson Park, on the north shore of McCullom Lake sits our 39 stall barn on 48 acres enclosed by white 4 board oak fence.
Owned by The City of McHenry and privately leased and run by Mickey Sikula, with 53 years of boarding and training experience.
We are very proud of our clientele for there friendly nature, helpfulness, respect for others and the property of others.
We welcome all breeds to a friendly, family atmosphere where English and Western riding styles mix very well.
ONLY Inside board is offered at $400. per month with no extra charges for feeding your supplements,trailer parking is free. You pick your veterinarian and shoer or use the ones we use.
Water buckets are checked constantly and horses are fed home grown grass hay (see pictures) and Nutrena 12% prime 2 times per day.
With 14' isles and high ceilings to keep the barn cool, our 12 by 12 box stalls are cleaned daily.
A favorite feature of ours is that the entire barn and indoor arena has a fire alarm system monitored by McHenry's fire department.
Heated areas include: the barn, tack rooms, lounge, restrooms and indoor wash rack with hot/cold water.
Weather permitting, pasture turnouts are on weekdays, weekends are upon request.
Outdoor areas include: wash area with cold water, 2 outdoor arenas, 1 with lights for night riding, 2 round pens and trails are nearby.
We also have an exercise rider/trainer/teacher available if needed.
We are open 7 days, weekdays 8:30 am to 9:30 pm and weekends 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. We close at noon on major holidays except July 4th. when we invite our clients to join us in watching The City of McHenry's fireworks display over McCullom Lake.
