Mohave County Summer 2016 Horsemanship Camp:
Dates: Week 1—May 31st – June 3rd 7:30am-12pm
Week 2—June 27th—June 30th 7:30am-12 pm
Week 3—July 25th—July 28th 7:30am-12pm
We are happy to have the opportunity to teach your child several skills during our Horsemanship 101 camps.
Different Riding Styles (Western, English, Bareback and Driving)
Learn what it takes to care for a horse before they get one of their own.. Husbandry care (cleaning pens and feeding, grooming, bathing, lunging and basic veterinarian care of horses)
Horse Behavior (reading body language, understanding horse behavior)
Training Techniques (Horsemanship techniques in ground work, English/Western/Bareback riding and desensitizing)
We have an extreme obstacle course to challenge our riders skills, lesson plans to build confidence and team work.
Safety is our number one priority and each child will learn horsemanship from the ground up. Each child will receive a Horsemanship Camp Completion Certificate along with a Kingman’s Healing Hooves t-shirt. Your child’s progress will also be posted on our Kingman’s Healing Hooves Facebook page for family and friends to see.
