Experienced female barefoot hoofcare professional with over 20 years experience. Mentor & Clinician for Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners. Many years of continuing education, including but not limited to: Pete Ramey, Dr Bowker, NoLaminitis, PHCP conferences, multiple courses by Dr Eleanor Kellon & more. I am well versed in all aspects of barefoot hoof care as well as diet, environment, booting and casting. I have a special interest in laminitic and metabolic horses.
I love to work with older horses, mini horses and ponies, shy horses, as well as horses that have had difficulties with male farriers.
I’m available for private consultations and instruction. I will teach you how to read your horse’s hooves for successful owner trimming. I teach 2 clinics a year, spring on Long Island and winter in central Florida.
