I grew up with horses, mom says I even rode up until my 8th pre-birth month(smile). I have known and ridden horses all my life. In my effort to combine my love of horses with a career that would contribute to their well being, I decided to become a farrier. I did my research, and saved my dollars in order to attend one of the best Natural Balance Schools I could find. My family has used Natural Balance hoof care for many, many years. I have seen it correct many problems that others have given up on, including one of my own. I have also seen natural balance hoof care help my family's horses to successfully complete thousands of endurance miles over the years. If you know anything about endurance, an average race is 50 miles, and for a horse to travel 50 miles in 4 to 6 hours and not only finish sound but in the front placings, the farrier has to be doing a great job of keeping the horse balanced.
