I am a retired Police Chief who has been a practicing Farrier since 2008. I went to school to learn to do my own horses and never intended to make a dime from it or do anybody else's horses, but word spread and it's turned into something bigger and better than we ever thought. We get paid to work around horses!!! It seems that the higher up you went in law enforcement, the more political it became. So, after 35 years, I retired and started trimming and shoeing horses with my wife, Penny. I don't and won't get in a hurry and will approach working with your horses as if they were my own... no rough handling, hitting, kicking or harsh treatment! I'll always do what's right for the horse.
