Each student- whether age 5 or 65- takes care of their horse by completely tacking up before each lesson, and untacking and returning their horse to its stall when they are done. The students are responsible for feeding, mucking and basic horse care.

Rincon Creek Riding Academy is now accepting new students for private and Group lessons at our Vail AZ facility. The Rincon Creek Riding Academy is the point of entry for new students. Our lesson program is designed to allow all riders to progress at their own pace. Each student will gain a solid foundation in horsemanship and the skills needed to provide loving care for their equine partners. My goal is to teach children and adults to learn how to ride with confidence and skill. The first criteria is everything is done in the safest manner possible for both student and horse.
Everyone learns from the ground up and at their own speed. We have lots of fun things for children to do such as pony camps, games, and special events. Trail riding for adults. The horses are size appropriate ranging from Shetland ponies up to 14'3" You can bring your horse if you would like to work with him. We will take students as young as 2 and you are never too old.

If you are an adult and want to learn to ride for the first time, we'd be happy to teach you. If you rode years ago and want to ride again but would like to renew your skills, we will help you. If you have encountered some fear because of an accident but want to work through it and get back on your horse, we can get that done.

I have over 30 years experience in training both horses and people with a multitude of references. Many of our riders have gone on to big competitions. I can help you with almost any horse skill or problem.
