We are a small, family owned, family and faith oriented farm with a close knit staff and volunteers who are here because they love horses and people. Our classes are small (mostly one on one with an instructor), resulting in close personal attention during lessons. Our horses are tried and true safe lesson horses.Our instructors offer a breadth of experience from eventing, jumping, English equitation, to western pleasure. A relaxed environment for kids and adults to learn riding basics, our emphasis is on a sound balanced seat and a loving confident relationship with the horse. Affordable rates

Ellen teaches lessons to people of all ages and experience levels. There are several school horses available so if you don't have your own horse the farm can provide an appropriate mount. Ellen also travels to other farms and is willing to work with you at your location. Although Ellen specializes in hunter jumper lessons emphasizing dressage basics she also enjoys taking her students and horses on trail rides. Hi. I have been teaching for the past 17 years. Excellent with starting the children and a good eye for refinement on the competitor. I have competed to the intermediate level of eventing. Shown third level dressage. Rode professionally in California. Great at teaching riders softness and correctness for both the dressage and jumping phases. Located in Vermilion, OH. I am a University of Findlay graduate holding 2 Bachelors Degrees in Equine Business Management and Western Equestrian Studies offering riding lessons, training, show coaching and 4H help in the areas of Lorain, Huron and Erie counties of Ohio. Instruction is available for all ages of riders, with a focus on building a solid horsemanship foundation in both beginners and advanced riders. My students and clients compete in hunter under saddle, western pleasure, showmanship, horsemanship and equitation. We primarily show on the Quarter Horse show circuits, as well as local open shows. *Note - we have moved into our own private facility, so address has changed as of June 2013*. We are a non-showing, no pressure riding stables that offer one hour private pay-as-you-go lessons i.e. no need to buy lesson packages as with most stables in our area. The lessons are suitable for all levels of rider from absolute beginner through advanced, teaching both western and english style with the opportunity for trail rides and foxhunting for students enrolled in our lesson progam. We specialize and have much experience with first time riders of all ages, with many adults and children as young as 6, helping those who have never seen a horse all the way through to the wannabe first time horse owner and beyond. We have both indoor and outdoor riding arenas, as well as onsite 29 acres of private wooded land available for year round riding.
