I have been training horses & riders for 35 years. I feel there must be a "team" atmosphere, between horse and rider. From beginner riders to pleasure riding and including show riders. All aspects are equally important regarding horse care.

We offer IEA and IHSA team riding including hunter/jumpers. Encouraging solid skills and equitation is our focus. Serving the Oxford, Hamilton and West Chester Ohio areas.

Ellen teaches lessons to people of all ages and experience levels. There are several school horses available so if you don't have your own horse the farm can provide an appropriate mount. Ellen also travels to other farms and is willing to work with you at your location. Although Ellen specializes in hunter jumper lessons emphasizing dressage basics she also enjoys taking her students and horses on trail rides. Primarily an eventing group we teach the classic principles of jumping and dressage. We involve ourselves yearly in hunter paces, trail rides, beach rides, drag fox hunting, dressage, eventing, and endurance. Our niche is boarding student horses and leasing out school horses for students to learn on, show, or just enjoy. We strive to help our students reach their own personal goals, whatever they may be, and to do what's right for you and your horse! Come join in on the learning and fun! Specializing in Dressage training, that truly believes in QUALITY not Quantity! I am a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist and I am currently showing my horse in the Grand Prix arena . I do have clients that show all levels, we travel to both schooling shows and rated USDF and USEF shows.
I provide a safe learning experience for all ages. I typically focus on AA clients at all riding levels welcome and training issues welcome. I have helped many horses and riders become partners again.....it's an amaizing process and I enjoy the journey with you and your horse.
Lessons are $60 per hour lesson, and must be payment due at the beginning of the month or at the time of each lesson.
Our Indoor is attached to the barn making It easy to come and go in bad weather. We welcome all breeds and disciplines. I offer a lesson program to students that do not own their own horse but would like to enjoy the benefits of riding.

I can halter break foals, start horses under saddle, or finish a horse in any of the following disciplines; western, english, jumping, showmanship, contesting and trail. I charge $35 per hour and like the owner of the horse to learn my training techniques so they know what to do with the horse when they are working with them. I also do monthly training that requires the horse be boarded on out farm. $250 for full care board and $250 for training. I work with the horse at least 4 times a week. My main goal when training is to have a calm, respectful and willing horse on the ground and in the saddle. I believe the proper ground work is the key to most problems. I give lessons to beginners up to experienced riders. I also will give lessons to all ages; no on is too young or too old in my eyes. I prefer private lessons only but will give a group lesson up to two riders at a time. I charge $35 per private lesson and $25 per rider for a group lesson. Lessons usually last 1 1/2 hours because I guarantee an hour on the horses back.

I have 19 years of experience training horses/riders. I have had over 6 different personal trainers and I study John Lyons,Pat Parelli,Guy McLean, Chris Cox, Clinton Anderson, Craig Cameron and many others on a consistent basis. I believe you can never know everything and the same techniques do not work on every horse. I have shown in all of the above disciplines and have done very well.
