with many riders and horses. I have worked with many 4-H members to get ready for the fair or the every day horse lover who just wants to learn to ride and basic horse care. I offer lessons on your horse you can trailer in for help with your own horse. I like to work with one to two riders at a time for better individual instruction.

My program focuses on developing a working bond between horse and handler. In doing so confidence is fostered not only in the rider but the horse as well. This creates a solid foundation based on positive reinforcement and facilitates easy learning advancement in addition to preventing negative habits from forming.
I have been involved with horses my whole life. At age nine I began breaking and training ponies. I have shown with AQHA and NSBA for the last sixteen years and have had the opportunity to apprentice with many great horsemen of the industry. My personal achievements include 2008 NSBA Res. Limited Rider of the year, 2008 Reichert Intermediate Slot class winner, 2010 Reichert champion, multiple top five and top ten placings at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. L'Ambaince Farm is an exceptional and beautiful lesson, training and full care boarding facility. We are a family friendly equine facility where everyone is always welcome! We specialize in saddle seat riding to riders of all ages and abilities. (Not sure if your up to riding? We also give driving lessons too!) Year-Round Lesson Program at Camp Kern!

Just when you thought Camp Kern was just for summer camp and school groups! Circle K Ranch, located at Camp Kern, has a fun, safe, educational, and progressive lesson program that is offered all year long. Our instructors are patient and knowledgeable and will help students of all ages achieve their horseback riding and horsemanship goals.

Lessons are offered in English, Western, Dressage, and Jumping, with a strong emphasis on good horsemanship, horse care, and sportsmanship. Students spend most of their lesson time on horseback, but will also participate in ground lessons on topics such as; grooming, tacking, leading, lunging, horse first aid, horse terms, barn management, and more!

With more then 50 horses and many different instructors there you can come to learn anything you want! We are a fit for students of all dispositions and experience level!

Schedule & Rates

Scheduling is flexible and lessons are offered most weekday evenings as well as Sunday afternoons. Lesson times last for 1 hour, and students should plan to arrive to lessons 15 minutes early to start grooming and tacking their horses. Students should allow about 10 minutes after the lesson to un-tack, groom, and turn their horse out.
