Hidden Fox Equestrian offers horseback riding lessons to those wishing to begin or advance their knowledge of horses. Accepting riders ages 5+ and all skill levels, our program focuses on teaching riders to be confident and correct in the saddle. In a positive and encouraging environment, we teach students in beginners english, hunter-jumpers, jumpers and low-level dressage.

​ Our school horses are gentle, calm, and knowledgable in their disciplines. Our wonderful horses assist riders in learning the basics by creating unique bonds and building a riders’ confidence. As well as challenging each rider to thrive to better themselves.

Our barn offers several amenities for parents and guests of our riders! Relax in our heated/cooled lounge with attached kitchenette and restroom. There are several benches and picnic tables around our arenas giving parents and friends the opportunity to have a ​great view of lessons.

Elhanan Equestrian is an English Riding Stable breeding quality Connemara Ponies, Fine German Riding Ponies, and Sport Horses breeding for the Olympic disciplines, and specializing in Eventing, Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, and Pony Club disciplines with an emphasis on correct classical training of horse & rider. Jill Timmons has been training, teaching and coaching professionally for over 25 years. Jill developed and operated a sizable business in the Equine industry in which she taught riding lessons for adults and children with an emphasis on safety and a balanced seat. Overseeing multiple instructors, she organized and taught a program of nearly 150 students. Jill has successfully coached students in the Hunter-Jumper discipline into High Point and year-end championships in Hunter and Equitation divisions. From rank beginners to advanced adults and children, Jill takes riders from Walk/Trot to Equitation Medal Champions. Jill has organized clinics, competitive events, and summer camps. Most importantly, Jill helps mold students to be responsible, respectful, confident, compassionate and competitive, growing their passion for horses.

Starting youngsters, brushing up the trained horse, or bringing a horse to the next level, Jenny maintains the classical dressage methodology in all aspects of horse training and care. Youngsters are brought along slowly, with an emphasis on clear communication and mutual trust. Horses receive a well-rounded education through cross training and relaxing hacks out of the arena setting. This keeps the horses fresh and happy in their work. Each horse receives a program tailored to fit the individual needs of the equine athlete.

We believe competitions provide a goal to work toward. Whether your focus is on riding in your first show, aspiring to compete at a rated show, or to some day ride at the Advanced levels of Eventing or Dressage, we know equine competition is one of the rare and unique sports that is not just about winning, but about the process. Mayfield Equestrian is a lesson and show barn located in a quiet area with a modern horse barn. We have indoor and outdoor wash stalls, climate controlled riders lounge areas, a covered, lighted 110ft x 200ft covered arena and cross country jumping course.

We offer lessons and show coaching in hunter jumpers, western performance and dressage. We regularly attend both local schooling shows and regional shows. Our riders and trainers have been to class A shows at Tryon International Equestrian Center, Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, and performed at national and world championship levels from Florida to Connecticut and as far west as Las Vegas. We train riders as young as 3 years old and rusty stirrup riders over 65!

We offer well trained lesson horse that are matched to the rider's ability level and interests. We have several horses available for partial or full lease. We also can help you select and locate a horse for purchase.

We take students to shows to build confidence and ability. Our facilities include a finished event space to host private functions and parties. We host local shows and clinics throughout the year. At PLEM we only have one or two spots available to a child or adult with previous or current riding experience and if they are interested in showing in local (inexpensive) shows in our area it is a plus! Our riding lessons include English on the flat and hunter/jumper. This includes teaching proper horse handling, grooming, tacking, barn maintenance, equine anatomy and vocabulary, as well as equine vet and health care. Teaching proper horsemanship not only prepares our students for horse ownership, but also teaches the life lessons of hard work, responsibility and the importance of caring for animals. We train riders and horses to work together so they have fun and are safe. Fun and Safety are our goals. We also have several lease or partial lease options available depending on experience and riding preference.

We strongly believe in teaching our students how to safely, effectively, and clearly communicate with their horses in the saddle and on the ground, and to take responsibility for the horses they ride, treating them with kindness, consideration, and respect.

Lessons include instruction on grooming, tacking-up, horse care and management. We also have a under cover arena so weather does not "normally" affect the lesson schedule, and it helps from the hot summer heat to keep us cool and on rainy days.

In the saddle, students focus on developing balance and using their weight ("seat") to communicate with the horse. Students use the escalation of aids to obtain the softest response from their horse with the least amount of pressure.
