Storybrooke Farms specializes in Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation and Dressage. Our objective is to provide children and amateur owners with competitive partners who are confident, safe, and athletic. Safety and horsemanship are top priorities. Storybrooke students not only to work toward mastering skills while mounted, but also to learn proper care and handling, as well as a basic understanding of equine psychology. We compete at all levels of shows from schooling to the ‘AA’ Circuit and instruct beginner through advanced riders. We are based out two of a beautiful facilities, one in Chapel Hill within 15 minutes of UNC and Duke, as well as in Wake Forest, 15 minutes north of downtown. Spring Haven Farm had its first days in 2002 as an active horseback riding stable. Since those first days, this family owned and operated farm has grown beautifully. Horseback riding lessons are now just one of the several things that our farm does on a daily basis. We produce and sell organically grown vegetables through the majority of the year. We have also expanded into special events. We have many animals on the farm including goats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and pigs. All of these activities and learning opportunities make for a great experience for any camper.
