I instruct riding lessons in Hunter/Jumpers and Eventing up to Beginner/Novice. I also teach the basics of riding and horse care for anyone curious about horses. I am fully capable and able to teach students ranging from beginners up to intermediate riders. Most instruction will take place at Rolling Hill Ranch on Marks Road; a very safe and secure location for riding. I have over two years of experience in preparing students for various level of horse showing and I have been participating in competition riding for 12 years. I will continue to take my students to shows every month if they what to show, teach them what it means to be committed to excellence. I have two lesson horses on the farm for instruction. Our academy is based on a structured program that has proven and applied itself for the past 30+ years. We called it EQUES rider. This program is based on level. The student start at Rider 1, and will work to achieve their Rider 4 certification. Each student will learn and practice the skills necessary to graduate to the next level.
Our mission is to teach our riders to become better horsemen and horsewomen. Horse care, proper body position, safety around horses and body control are some examples of what our program teaches. Each Student will learn and apply important skills that can be used in any discipline they would like to pursue.

Misfit Equestrian/Eventing offers lessons, leasing and boarding to hunter/jumper, dressage and Eventing riders aswell as beginner students wishing to learn English riding.
We are a competitive program that does not require showing but attends 2-4 shows a month.
Beginner private lessons are an hour, in this time riders learn the basics of horsemanship (catching the horse, leading, grooming, tacking, light riding, untacking and returning the horse to the field)
Private lessons are 45 min, riders attending these lessons must be able to catch, groom, tack and mount on their own.
Group lessons start for riders who can walk trot independently and then are divided by jump height.

Bridget O’Neill began riding almost as soon as she could walk. As she grew older, she spent long days at the barn learning the art of horsemanship through trail riding, western pleasure shows, and riding huntseat for versatility competitions. In her early teens she moved on to hunter jumper, successfully competing at the C, A, and AA circuits. She currently trains and competes in eventing, dressage, and jumpers.

Bridget enjoys working with riders of all ages and abilities. Safety and a solid foundation are the important components of her lesson program. She believes wholeheartedly in the value and establishing strong basic skills in her students. As riders progress under her guidance, they gain insight into the complex relationship between horse and rider. Bridget develops riders who are well-rounded in total horsemanship and who know how to thoroughly care for their horses and equipment in addition to riding competently no matter what discipline they select.

Since 1972, MacNair's Country Acres has been boarding horses and teaching horseback riding. Our Hunter/Jumper/Dressage facility is located on 280 acres, minutes from downtown Raleigh, NC.

We offer boarding, training, lessons and showing, both on and off the farm and we compete at local through USEF AA shows.

For those without a horse, our Riding School lesson horses and ponies have a variety of specialties. Our beginner animals are patient and dependable and our upper level horses help more advanced riders further their goals.
