Simplicity Stables is a first class equestrian facility that has something for just about anybody interested in learning or continuing their hunter/jumper riding or western riding, whether just for pleasure or competition. We are not solely an AQHA barn. The staff has competed, trained and shown many years in the open USEF circuit hunters and jumpers. We offer boarding, training, sales and riding lessons for all ages. Our prices are competitive with all the area's other facilities, but we are confident our programs will give you or your child not only fun with riding horses but the education to do so correctly.
Our complete horse show schedule follows through all year with both the local level shows including GOHJA and Horseshows in the Park to the A circuit including HITS. We also attend the AQHA circuit shows with our horses in the Hunter, Lounge line, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Showmanship and Horsemanship divisions. Here at Simplicity Stables, we are very proud of our family-friendly atmosphere with a competitive edge. We promote safety first as well as instruct our riders in the traditional hunt seat riding. Effectiveness is key to the competitive rider and we follow a program that will teach the rider to not only look good but to ride well too. Here at Simplicity Stables horse and rider simply do come together.
We are centrally located in Apopka, FL - approximately 25 minutes north of southwest Orlando, Downtown Orlando, Sanford and Leesburg, and only minutes from Mt. Dora.

We offer lessons for riders interested in Hunter/Jumpers or Western Pleasure and now offering Ranch Horse training. Students are encouraged to go to monthly horse shows with our show team. Horses are available to lesson on or boarding is available so you can lesson on your own horse. Private and semi private lessons are offered to students. Anvil Acres is a full service facility. We have instructors in several different disciplines available with well trained lesson horses. We are able to offer a variety of levels of training from beginners looking for a solid foundation, through show ring presentation at advanced levels. We have an all grass jump course, a 20 x 60 meter dressage arena, a large clay arena and we also have an area with western trail obstacles. Our students are offered the choice of attending horse shows on their own horse or on our lesson horses.
