Instructor has 20 years of experience teaching hunt seat, dressage and western. Reining is an exciting new addition. Idle Moment Farm also provides trail rides on the farm, boarding and overnight services.

Sunny Stables is located in Picturesque Highland County Va. We offer lessons for all ages and riding abilities and specialize in the English Discipline. Instruction is provided on any of our great lesson horses or on your own personal horse. Lessons are taught by a Virginia Intermont College Equine Major with over 20 years of expereience. We also offer trail rides for individuals or groups and have 2 yearly summer horse camps for the younger riders. We are a USEF member facility and are fully insured. Offering outstanding training and backing of young horses, retraining for new disciplines, and difficult/problem horses. Certified IAES instructor/trainer and USPC graduate with over 15 years experience. Teaching children and adults of all ages and levels on my horse or yours. We are a friendly, safety oriented barn with well trained, experienced horses. All lessons are spent 100% in the saddle. Young and inexperienced riders are always taught in private lessons to insure that your child is safe.
