I offer private lessons to all age groups. For younger children I’ve found that 30 minute hands-on lessons which include grooming, leading, tacking-up, untacking, and learning basic riding skills is great for the first time or 2.

For older kids and adults I offer an hour long lesson which include more saddle time and more in-depth training, Which Includes focusing and working more on balance, communication, seat/posture, leg aids and much more.

Castaway Farms Horseback Riding School offers Horse Camps for Kids. New this year is the Miniature Horse Camp for children ages 5-10 yrs old. Your child will be all smiles when they meet our Mini Horses! They will enjoy learning about this unique and amazing breed in a fun & safe environment. Working with a Mini Horse encourages discipline, responsibility and respect.
