Taos Horse offers superior balance seat riding lessons. We blend the philosophies and practices of Centered Riding with dance, pilates, yoga, and martial arts. Exercises that activate both hemispheres of the brain and cultivate new neurological pathways are also featured in this unique training system. The rider develops a deep sense of balance and connection to the horse - along with core strength that is elastic and supple. This training system is unlike any other. It is great for beginners who want a solid foundation and is also wonderful for intermediate or advanced riders in any discipline. We work on the flat, over fences and various obstical courses. Our facilities are as unique as the training. We work in an enchanting setting in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of San Cristobal.
