We provide lessons for beginners through advanced. Basing all our riding on correct classical seat. Correct seat position and proper communication with your horse are most important. We start a lot of colts using natural horsemanship techniques. a tune up for a seasoned horse, or colt starting for your youngsters. At Blue Point Stables, LLC we instruct riding lessons 6 days a week, all year long, when we are not otherwise engaged at a Horse Show for our clients.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Our youngest students are as young as 6 years old. We have also had many Seniors that began learning to ride with us, as well as all ages in between. We instruct beginner to advanced riders. Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

We offer equine stable boarding and pasture boarding, at market value rates, for those clients that are looking for a trusted, established stables that caters to each equine with enhanced service and love.

At Sunnyside Stables, we offer riding lessons to riders of all ages, disciplines both english (on the flat and over fences) and western, and skill levels. We are very beginner friendly for both children and adult riders! Come learn on your horse or ours. Here you will learn various skills on the ground and under saddle to become a well rounded, safe, and confident equestrian while having fun and achieving your goals.
