Boone's Farm & Stables, opened in 1981. Offering horseback riding lessons for all ages under an ARIA Certified Instructor and all adult instructors. Lessons are tailored for the rider’s goals. Riding lessons here are more than riding a horse. Adults and children become part of our barn family of riders where everyone is welcome! Good sportsmanship, respect of animals and team spirit is a must at Boone’s Farm & Stables while lasting friendships are made through a mutual love of horses.
Lessons are taught in a heated indoor arena. We also offer driving lessons.

Storybrooke Farms specializes in Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation and Dressage. Our objective is to provide children and amateur owners with competitive partners who are confident, safe, and athletic. Safety and horsemanship are top priorities. Storybrooke students not only to work toward mastering skills while mounted, but also to learn proper care and handling, as well as a basic understanding of equine psychology. We compete at all levels of shows from schooling to the ‘AA’ Circuit and instruct beginner through advanced riders. We are based out two of a beautiful facilities, one in Chapel Hill within 15 minutes of UNC and Duke, as well as in Wake Forest, 15 minutes north of downtown. Traveling Trainer services are offered on a limited basis within the Triangle. Trailer-In lessons are also welcome at either facility.

Lessons are taught by a certified American Riding Instructor, with over 26 years of experience competing, training, teach and showing all over the midwest and east coast. Kylie Barrows has many years experience competing in dressage and eventing. Training and lessons are offered to horses and riders of all experience levels, with an emphasis on kind and correct training principles, safety, and fun. I have had the best training from all over the world since I was 4. I love being able to share the great training I've had with others. I am very big on the fundamentals of riding (flat work, flat work, flat work) I enjoy teaching students the importance of flat work, then watching my students develop their technique while improving their horse in every aspect. I am best training intermediate riders (of any age) up to the advanced (Grand Prix/Professional) level. I excelled showing/training in the hunters & Eq. as well as the jumpers. I started competing in at the Grand Prix level when I was 16 (right before Young Riders) In 2006 I represented the US in Europe on the Global Champions Tour. I would really love to help any rider that simply just loves to ride/show to a rider that is striving to be a professional one day soon.
I can also help with any horse training from breaking young horses to a top level show horse.
