Four Winds Farm is now offering public riding lessons, both english AND western, for all ages and levels of riders in a family orientated, fun and safe environment!

We offer year round lessons. Students ride once a week, but additional lessons are available. Each lesson is 1 hour. We offer three options; private lessons, semi-private lessons and group lessons (up to 6 riders) morning, afternoon, weeknight and weekend classes are available

We have both indoor and outdoor arenas, lessons are rarely canceled due to weather.

FWF has a great group of horses and ponies for our lessons! Most of them are also available to lease (half or full) depending on the horse.

Our instructors have a very wide background of knowledge and experience in hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, western pleasure and much more!

Enjoy and learn all aspects of the horse world, from the basics of horsemanship, such as grooming and tacking, every day care like feeding and barn management,from training to showing and so much more!

Four Winds Farm is the "host facility" for the Prince William Horse Association horse shows. We host 7 english and 7 western shows each season (usually march thru October) and we encourage our students to participate in the shows on one of our horses! There are classes for ALL levels from the Lead Line division on up!

Hard hat, pants and boots with a hard smooth sole and a heel must be worn while riding.

Kelsey is an upper level eventing rider who recently moved to the Hanover area and is looking for some new students! Kelsey has competed her 2 horses from their first event to the CCI* and intermediate levels. She also has experience in dressage, jumpers, 4H, and polocrosse. Kelsey takes students to local horse trials and 4H shows, including the state 4H Championships. She can travel and accommodates trailer ins (has a nice set of show jumps and a handful of XC fences on her farm, with a dressage ring in the works). Couderay Springs Farm offers horseback riding lessons for all ages and all levels of riders. We specialize in well rounded English lessons that are safe, fun, and educational. Our goal is to teach the rider to become a partner with their horse and fully understand him at all levels.
