Lehnig Eventing, based at Brently Woods Stables, is committed to excellence in the equestrian sport through the continued education of our riders, horses, and trainer, Rosa Lehnig. Our goal at Stone Bridge Farm is to offer our riders the best riding instruction, facilities and horses available in southwest Virginia -- and to do so in an environment that is fun, welcoming, and safe. In the last year, our high school and middle school riding teams have been among the most successful in the Mid-Atlantic states, and many of our show riders have earned local, state and national recognition.

Swift Creek School of Equitation has been in practice since 1978, offering a convenient location with a great facility and accredited staff which includes, Jessie Clise Lohr (owner/trainer), Molly Alaimo and Ashley Smoral. Kelsey is an upper level eventing rider who recently moved to the Hanover area and is looking for some new students! Kelsey has competed her 2 horses from their first event to the CCI* and intermediate levels. She also has experience in dressage, jumpers, 4H, and polocrosse. Kelsey takes students to local horse trials and 4H shows, including the state 4H Championships. She can travel and accommodates trailer ins (has a nice set of show jumps and a handful of XC fences on her farm, with a dressage ring in the works). We offer quality instruction on our horse or yours, in both the hunter and jumper disciplines, and coaching from the local through the A levels of competition. We start young horses and give them a good foundation, and "de-programming" ex-racehorses is our specialty. Our school horses are in all shapes, sizes and experience levels, and some are available for lease (leases start @ $200/mo). We always have working student positions available and often times a working boarder position, as well. There are no commitments to sign up for lesson series, and traveling, to you, is an option if you are local. "Ship-ins" are welcome whether it is for a lesson or just to make use of our facility.
