Tara Jones is a graduate of Kenny Harlow's year long certification Program. Since then she has worked along side of Kenny as his teaching assistant, head trainer, and business associate. We offer quality instruction on our horse or yours, in both the hunter and jumper disciplines, and coaching from the local through the A levels of competition. We start young horses and give them a good foundation, and "de-programming" ex-racehorses is our specialty. Our school horses are in all shapes, sizes and experience levels, and some are available for lease (leases start @ $200/mo). We always have working student positions available and often times a working boarder position, as well. There are no commitments to sign up for lesson series, and traveling, to you, is an option if you are local. "Ship-ins" are welcome whether it is for a lesson or just to make use of our facility. Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. As of now we are offering the following:
-Ring Rental
-30/60/90 day horse training program
-Trailer your horse in for lessons
-Working students ( I have a few horses I want to use for lessons but they need some more experienced riders to work them. Lessons are free on these horses!)
-Pony rides/birthday parties

Templar Farm LLC is committed to training both horse and rider, of all levels, to their top potential. We offer both dressage instruction, as well as hunter/jumper. Our experienced trainers work with students just starting out, to advanced students looking to compete on the rated circuit. The premiere facility features 100’ x 200’ outdoor arena, 168’ x 65’ indoor arena with dust free footing and viewing area, and climate controlled lounge.
