Located just outside of Chattanooga, Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit organization that was started in 2009. At HTRP, we offer a variety of services and strive to create a close-knit community that fosters a fun and safe learning environment. We offer several lesson options for riders of all levels including therapy. We have discovered that through a relationship with horses, students discover skills such as commitment, hard work, leadership, confidence and awareness as well as harmony, balance, courage, and accomplishment. Certified instructor with over 25 years professional equine experience. Safety is a priority with everything we do! We are proud to offer the Kid-Safe Program for our young riders. Owner is also a licensed Paramedic.

We teach riders ages 5 - 100! Beginners through advanced riders are welcome. Beginners are taught one on one & are not started off in group lessons. We have proven methods to help riders learn to safely handle & ride, build confidence and improve their skills.
