I am a trainer with 10 years of riding exsperience and have been teaching for 3 years. I have taught beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. I excel in teaching English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Gaited Riding and Hunter Jumper. Lessons are at the location listed above (Anne Springs Close Greenway Horse Stables). The age to start lessons is eight years old. We provide a healthy and friendly environment with a wide variety of horses that will fulfill your needs. Hat Trick Ranch is a 30 acre barrel racing facility located right outside of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. We are excited to be teaming up with professional barrel racer Madeleine Green to bring barrel racing lessons, training, and tune-ups to the surrounding areas.

Madeleine Green is the daughter of prominent barrel horse trainer Mike Green. She was raised on one of the most successful horse ranches in the country, and she has been competing on barrel horses since the age of three. You could say Madeleine was born and bred for a career in horses. She has a special passion for the sport of barrel racing and has learned the ins and outs from watching some of the best in the world. With the thrill of competition running deep in her veins, Madeleine has risen to the top in about everything she has set her mind to do.

 Her youth career consisted of 4 NBHA state championships, the fastest time award at the National Barrel Horse Association youth and teen world championships, and two reserved titles, along with a championship in the World Barrel Racing Association event. In recent years, Madeleine has had continued success running the fastest time at her first International Finals Rodeo and left Oklahoma City as the IFR44 barrel racing champion. She has also tried her hand at futurities and derbies. She was reserved at the Diamonds and Dirt Futurity and reserved at the Old Fort Days Derby.

Overseeing multiple instructors, she organized and taught a program of nearly 150 students. Jill has successfully coached students in the Hunter-Jumper discipline into High Point and year-end championships in Hunter and Equitation divisions. From rank beginners to advanced adults and children, Jill takes riders from Walk/Trot to Equitation Medal Champions. Jill has organized clinics, competitive events, and summer camps. Most importantly, Jill helps mold students to be responsible, respectful, confident, compassionate and competitive, growing their passion for horses.

Starting youngsters, brushing up the trained horse, or bringing a horse to the next level, Jenny maintains the classical dressage methodology in all aspects of horse training and care. Youngsters are brought along slowly, with an emphasis on clear communication and mutual trust. Horses receive a well-rounded education through cross training and relaxing hacks out of the arena setting. This keeps the horses fresh and happy in their work. Each horse receives a program tailored to fit the individual needs of the equine athlete.

We believe competitions provide a goal to work toward. Whether your focus is on riding in your first show, aspiring to compete at a rated show, or to some day ride at the Advanced levels of Eventing or Dressage, we know equine competition is one of the rare and unique sports that is not just about winning, but about the process.
