Kris Di Carlo Equestrian is a full care, full training show barn located just 15 miles East of Hwy 75 in Bradenton Florida. With over 13 years experience in the Hunter/jumper show industry Kris has a handle on just what it takes to succeed and meet rider's and horse's goals. Kris has worked all over the country for top trainers in the industry, including farms in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and California. Most notably for top International rider and trainers Jenni and Steve Mc Allister in California. After working for the best Kris has finally been able to put all is knowledge to work for himself and has opened his own farm. He has produced winning riders in the show ring from ponies to even bringing a young rider victories in Grand Prixs. Being a rider himself, Kris competes regularly on the Show circuit, from baby green hunters to Grand Prix.
We offer lesson from beginner to advanced riders and all levels in between. Lease horses are also offered so the serious rider can have the experience of horse ownership without having to take the step into fully committing to owning one till the time is right. Current clients have their own horses however lesson horses are available for getting started. Hunter Ventures is a hunter/jumper training facility for all ages and abilities. We offer a wide variety of choices in services. Full and partial board are available to fit each individual horse owners needs. Training is provided for the young, green horse as well as the "problem" horses and those wanting to go to the show ring. Lessons are for ages 4 to 84 of all riding levels, beginner through advanced. We also attend the local schooling shows through A-Level for those wanting to compete. Horses are available for sale or lease, and we will market your sale horse to the right buyer. Keli Wakeley began her career riding and training horses in 1997. She currently makes her home in Archer, Florida where she works for Camp Keystone as their Equine Director. Her career began in South Florida where she worked as a farm manager and quickly began riding with local trainers and soon began training and instructing for pleasure and show. In 2000 Keli was certified with the CHA for english and western disciplines and continued a freelance career riding, training and showing focusing on western pleasure, competitive trail, horsemanship, hunter under saddle, and equitation. After working as a veterinary technician for some time she then accepted a position with Camp Keystone and continues to freelance riding instruction and training in the north Florida area.
