Second Nature Farm is a great place to begin or continue your riding education! Our instructors focus on instilling correct basics in all riders, beginner to advanced. We offer a second-to-none line up of lesson horses and ponies who know their job well and guarantee a safe, fun experience. We have a large listing of horses and ponies available for lease options as well.
We have a beautiful indoor arena to accommodate lessons in all weather conditions, as well as an outdoor arena and plenty of trails for hacking out. SNF offers monthly in-house horse shows and regularly travels to off-property shows, both schooling and recognized.

Clearview Stable provides lessons for all ages, from beginner to advanced. The riding program is designed to instill confidence in the rider in a quiet environment with small group lessons. Private lessons are also available. Full and half leasing is available and boarding is available to those who own their own horse or pony. We have an indoor ring and an outdoor ring and plenty of trails. We attend local and rated shows and paper chases. Our instructor is very patient and kind, puts everyone at ease. She loves to teach new riders of all ages. Her teaching doesn't just stop with riding, she takes great pride in teaching horsemanship, sportsmanship and the correct way to care for horses. She has several students showing at rated shows as well as some horses & ponies that she trained. Leanne's main focus is hunters, jumpers and equitation but also teaches some cross country and balanced seat. Leanne also does some training, whether your horse or pony needs started or just a refresher course. She takes a interest in problem horses and works right along with the owner to insure he/she is able to understand the training that is done to their horse. Leanne is the owner of the farm and also the main person teaching so you don't have to worry about having different instructors all the time. A rider and competitor since childhood and an Instructor / Trainer for 3 decades, Ginger has worked with students and horses in the Maryland region for 23 years. Ginger approaches her teaching and training with a passion, and her horses with respect.
