Kris has worked all over the country for top trainers in the industry, including farms in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and California. Most notably for top International rider and trainers Jenni and Steve Mc Allister in California. After working for the best Kris has finally been able to put all is knowledge to work for himself and has opened his own farm. He has produced winning riders in the show ring from ponies to even bringing a young rider victories in Grand Prixs. I keep lessons safe and fun and educational. I focus on developing a strong abdominal core for balance and strength. My facility, Arbordale LLC, is beautiful with covered riding and an air-conditioned viewing lounge for parents and friends and is convenient to both I-75 and I-275. I have a wonderful selection of lesson and show horses that I use for instruction.

Anvil Acres is a full service facility. We have instructors in several different disciplines available with well trained lesson horses. We are able to offer a variety of levels of training from beginners looking for a solid foundation, through show ring presentation at advanced levels. We have an all grass jump course, a 20 x 60 meter dressage arena, a large clay arena and we also have an area with western trail obstacles. We offer lessons for riders interested in Hunter/Jumpers or Western Pleasure and now offering Ranch Horse training. Students are encouraged to go to monthly horse shows with our show team. Horses are available to lesson on or boarding is available so you can lesson on your own horse. Private and semi private lessons are offered to students. Simplicity Stables is a first class equestrian facility that has something for just about anybody interested in learning or continuing their hunter/jumper riding or western riding, whether just for pleasure or competition. We are not solely an AQHA barn. The staff has competed, trained and shown many years in the open USEF circuit hunters and jumpers. We offer boarding, training, sales and riding lessons for all ages. Our prices are competitive with all the area's other facilities, but we are confident our programs will give you or your child not only fun with riding horses but the education to do so correctly.
Our complete horse show schedule follows through all year with both the local level shows including GOHJA and Horseshows in the Park to the A circuit including HITS. We also attend the AQHA circuit shows with our horses in the Hunter, Lounge line, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Showmanship and Horsemanship divisions.
