She has brought many of her own, and client horses, successfully through the preliminary level and is currently competing a promising young stallion. Maxi Sulamith Moon is a former german FEI rider and has been producing and training several horses for artistic shows aswell for competitions. Over the last 10 years she has been the artistic creator for several horseshow events including the International Show jumping event opening in Brussels and several other shows across Europe and for the Theatre Equestre de Wattrelos.
The lessons are based on working on the connection between horse and rider and improve half pass, extended trot, flying changes, piaffe and passage.

Lightfoot Horse Farm is located in Chico, CA (specifically Cohasset, CA) surrounded by Northern California’s most picturesque scenery! We are a small family farm, teaching private beginner lessons to children and adults alike. What sets us apart from other riding facilities is that we teach horsemanship, rather than just riding lessons. Whereas other facilities throw students up in the saddle at the first lesson, focusing on just one discipline of riding, we start from the ground up. Students become well-rounded, learning groundwork, handling, grooming, tacking, caring, feeding, and communicating with horses, as well as riding and basic vet care.

We do not focus on one discipline of riding, but incorporate both Western and English styles of riding in our lessons. We utilize all of our resources – from the round pen, to the arena, to the jump field, to the miles and miles of trail that surround our property.
