Here at Rick Baer Training Stables, we offer an established PROFESSIONAL western horseback riding lesson & horse training program. Having over 30 years of proven performance & experience is what sets us apart from many other western training programs. Our barn is a full service performance horse training facility specializing but not limited to, the exciting equestrian sport of Reining. Additionally we start colts/fillies for many equestrian professionals within most disciplines and also work on correcting problematic horses. Our assistant trainers/instructors are true horseman, highly skilled & trained with life-long horsemanship experience. We value the importance of giving you a solid foundation & avoiding the creation of bad habits. We teach you everything from the fundamental basics, to fine tuning & honing the skills of the seasoned rider. Our accomplished lesson horses are sweet natured with an abundance of Reining/Showmanship/Western Riding show experience, thereby helping to provide the optimum results for you the rider. In our lesson program we work on a one-on-one basis customizing your individual needs.
Whether you are wanting some fun & recreation, a man following your Cowboy dreams, an actor or stuntman building your portfolio skills, the young child starting a riding career, A student aspiring to train towards attaining an equestrian college scholarship, an individual training to show competitively or just simply gaining your own personal best.It is our goal to help give you the skill set needed to create & build a safe, sound, soft handed, talented and confident rider.We want you to be challenged and to gain an understanding of and create an effective yet subtle communication between you and the horse. Our goal here at Destiny Ranch, is of course to teach kids how to ride, but also alot of other ways equines can enrich our lives. We are dedicated to making sure that everyone has a great time riding, and also form a bond with one of our AMAZING lesson horses.



We want to teach everyone how, to not only have proper position and control over their horse, and their own body but also, how to have a blast while doing so! We hope that over time, our students learn pateince, dedication, hard work, balance, strength, focus, and that even horses have their good and bad days. But most importantly we hope to watch all of our students grow to be wonderful riders, and pass through all of the differnt ranks of riding!

Hi, Our names are Emma Wexler and Skye Carr. We are both 14 and very accomplished riders.



Emma, our English Trainer, has been riding for 10 years now and has competed in Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Circut and all across Southern California showing with various barns on differents shiw ponies and horses, always in the ribbons. She is also a student in the art of dressage which requires a strong bond between the horse and rider.



Skye, our Western Trainer, Has been ridding scince she was 3 and has competed in Barrels, Gymkanah, and various Rodeo Events. She is a very determined rider and spends every spare moment out with her horse and pony.

We offer lesson horses and tack! All your little buckaroo needs is a good attitude, long pants, closed toed shoes or ridding boots, and a helmet of some sort! ( If you don't have a helmet we can find one for you!)



Costs:



Private 1 hour: $15



Private 1/2 hour:$8



Group lesson 1 hour: $10



Summer/Winter Day Camps: $60 a week for 5 days from 9 A.M-2 P.M (extended hours apon request if needed)



Times:



Any time on the Week Ends



After 2:30 on Week Days



All students are expected to be here 15 minutes before scheduled ride time to help tack up!

All cancellations are to be made 10 hours in advance!
