Huckleberry Lane Farms is a full service riding school and show barn located in the Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego, California. We are a small program which allows us to provide individualized Hunter-Jumper training tailored to our clients skills and goals. Our programs are suitable for those seeking to excel in the competition ring or simply have fun and learn about horses while enjoying the outdoors. Huckleberry Lane Farms program emphasizes strong riding skills and horsemanship in a safe, friendly environment. Ride one of our horses or bring your own! You may purchase individual lessons or one of our lesson and training packages.

We also have experience in assisting high school riders in qualifying for OCIS PE at their school which allows their riding hours to be certified as physical education credits.

I promote understanding between horse and rider. Lessons plans include beginning through advanced English and Western riding. I also teach trail riding and Polo. I offer beginning jumping and gymkhana. There is an emphasis on horse communication and my students can learn complete horse care. I work with Girl Scouts and can do riding lesson birthday parties. I have a unique instructional style. I usually ride in the lesson with my students so that I can show them exactly what I am teaching and I explain why it is done that way. Silver Spur Stables is one of the oldest barns in Glendale, California. Next to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and adjacent to Griffith Park Trails, while it offers boarding and lessons, it is currently hiring for equestrian trainers for it's equestrian summer day camp for children. Day camp till operate through June-September, Mondays through Friday, between the hours of 8am-5pm. Silver Spur Stables is in the need of two riding instructors who will also act as day camp counselors for children ages 8-15 years.
