Autumn Sun Stables is family owned and operated horseback riding facility specializing in riding lessons, boarding, training, sales, camps, parties, and more. We specialize in English riding, but also offer Western riding as well. Disciplines we cover include hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, western pleasure, trail, and overall equitation. We have over 30 acres, a beautiful outdoor arena, a round pen, cross country jumps, stadium jumps, and trails. Our riding lessons cover all that goes into riding including grooming, tacking up, riding both in an arena and outside, lunging, washing horses, cleaning tack, feeding and caring for horses, and much more. Equestrian Arts Institute is a true equestrian educational experience. We not only educate our riders how to ride, we always incorporate horsemanship educational opportunities. We give lessons for children ages 6+ through adult riders. We have competition opportunities for those with a competitive drive and other fun, pleasure activities for those that are a bit more laid back.

Lessons are offered 6 days per week in group, semi-private and private settings.

Heart Centered Horsemanship is a method of training developed to provide mutual benefit to horses and humans. Techniques include relationship building, hands-on techniques to release tension and improve comfort and ease of movement, groundwork to develop connection and communication, adapted yoga practices, and riding to provide maximum benefit to horse and rider. Stacey Carter has over 25 years of experience riding, training, and competing. She has extensive experience starting young horses, rehabilitating "problem" horses, and working with rescues. She is a PATH Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and Registered Yoga Instructor. The Heart Centered Horsemanship Method has been incorporated into therapeutic programs and is the basis for Healing Connections at Midnight's Promise Equine Rescue, a weekly group that supports mutual healing for horses and humans. She teaches riders from the ground up in a holistic program that emphasizes safety, mindfulness, animal welfare, and having fun while developing skills that enhance all areas of life.
