German Riding School: The official 3-year program ending with two-week clinic tests, requiring a passing score for certification from the German Government and German Riding Association FN. "Bereiter FN."

Center of the Westfalien Breeders: Training from young horses (3yr. and older) Auctions, 100 day test for the approved 3 yr. old Stallions & Sale horses.

Gestuet Katharinenhof: Brood mares, Approved Stallions & Horses in all ages up to Grand Prix level, Showing up to 1.40 m.

Paul Schockemoehle: Worked for one year at the main training facility in Muehlen with, Franke Sloothaak, Evelyn Blaton, Otto Becker, Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Dirk Hafemeister & Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.

Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping and eventing. As a teenager she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007 she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years, in which she continues her education daily.



Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011 she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella, for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth level. Riding Academy
The program which sets El Camino Ranch above and beyond other ranches is our finely tuned RIDING ACADEMY. We began giving lessons occasionally back in 1989. Since that time we have added a team of instructors, and a team of lesson horses, a curriculum of instruction, a schedule book full of lessons, birthday parties, Girl Scout activities, and other educational projects, along with many dedicated parents and individuals who make the weekly trek to El Camino. These are the back bone of this progressive program. We teach students, from age 5 years and up to tack up a horse, to mount a horse, to balance on the back of the horse, and to walk, trot, and canter/lope. As the student advances they may learn to ride a Saddle Seat horse, or to drive a pony in a cart. A few more advanced students learn to jump a horse over cross rails, and perhaps up to three feet. Anything we can do SAFELY, we will do. Our tiniest students, ages 3 and up, learn to groom a horse with our three Miniature Horses. Our lesson horses have all been professionally trained.  Several have been successful Show Horses, and most all are 8 years old or older, and have calm, quiet dispositions, so that they are safe for children or new adult riders.  They are Arabians, Half Arabians, and a few are other breeds.  They will all challenge you to excel to any level you wish to achieve.  These very special mares and geldings are the jewels of the ranch, and are loved by every student who has ever ridden in the Riding Academy Program, or observed these dedicated horses. Lotte has a lifetime of equestrian experience and has been training professionally for over 10 years, with the main discipline in 3-Day Eventing. Lotte came to California from Denmark in the fall of 1988. In 2001, she started her own business "Alotte Horses Riding School and Training Stable". Lotte is a member of USEA, USEF and CDS. She was won multiple championships at the Event Derby and at VCSC, where she won both Senior Horse and Super Horse titles.

Lotte likes to show her students other ways to enjoy horses as well. In addition to working in the arena, attending clinics and shows, she broadens their horizons by taking them on trail rides, participating in western riding, attending dressage and hunter/jumper shows and the occasional fox hunt meet. She also hosts one or two clinics a year, inviting an outside professional trainer to come for the day.

Lotte adores working with children and adults and also works well with anyone who has a fear of horses. Safety is always the first priority, both for people and the horses. Teaching riding has been a lifelong dream, and riding, instructing and horses are my passion! We are currently looking for all levels of rider of both adults and children.
We offer lessons to the beginner through advanced rider focusing on development of the balanced seat and communication with the horse through dressage basics. Lessons are geared towards the rider who wants to advance their horsemanship skills.

The instructor is CHA certified instructor and is focused on the safety of horse and rider.
