Bay Laurel Stables in Calabasas is now accepting a limited number of clientele with or without their own horse to join our team for the upcoming show season. We are a full-service training barn specializing in hunter/jumpers and equitation on the local, A and AA circuits.

At Bay Laurel, we take pride in building strong horsemanship skills and solid fundamentals that translate into successful horse and rider partnerships. All of our programs are tailored by Head Trainer Mary Galletti to fit any level of horse and rider, from new beginners to more advanced riders looking for new goals.

We are a USHJA certified full service hunter/jumper lesson and show barn dedicated to teaching modern horsemanship skills in a quality, safe, drama free atomosphere. We are also a fully licensed equine transportation business.

We offer adventurous, scenic trail rides on our endurance horses for intermediate horse riders.

Horsefeathers Lessons&Training uses classical equitation based off Xenophon's teachings. A balance of training, conditioning, and nutrition are taught. We insist on patience, reward, and working with a horse to get results. We teach students how to use hands, legs, and voice, all the time trying to fine down the aids so as to make them almost unnoticeable. The goal is to have a ride with the least amount of interference to allow the horse to perform at their best.
