We are a private horse farm and rescue offering Riding Lessons, Training, and Boarding. We teach beginner to advanced English and Western riding lessons. Lessons are 50 per hour either private or semi private and taught by instructor Grace who has been riding 15+ years and helping riders of all ages start their riding journey. At Chestnut Lane we specialize in Saddleseat riding and driving for both pleasure and competition for children and adults at every skill level, beginner through advanced. In our riding program, our knowledgeable and friendly instructors tailor lessons to each student. Currently accepting Intermediate/advanced students only - this means riders that are able to walk, trot, canter, and catch/tack up their own horses. We have a dynamic space on an 11 acre farm with a talented, diversified, animated, entertaining instructor, specializing in teaching fun, exciting lessons to established equestrians. Come ride in a beautiful area with woods, trails, giant open fields, on wonderful horses. We have loads of cross country jumps, hills, wide open spaces, lots of fun!!

Lessons are $80 each, small group lessons with up to 5 riders. We do accept haul-in lessons if you want to bring your own horse.

We also offer trail rides for beginners-advanced, up to 5 people in a group, for $100 per person. By Appointment only.

Our goal at Castle French Farm is to introduce people to horses. In educating you about these amazing animals, we hope to inspire respect, admiration and passion for the sport and recreation of horseback riding. While taking lessons at Castle French Farm, you will receive outstanding goal oriented instruction and personal attention in your quest to learn about horses. We teach the American system of forward riding and encourage students from all levels ages 7 and up to learn and develop their own personal horsemanship skills. If you or your child has never touched a horse, but is horse crazy, we can help you/them gain the confidence and skill-set required to safely handle them. If you or your child is experienced, we have well-schooled horses and to meet the challenge of your/their continued riding and horsemanship growth. An Evaluation Lesson is required for each new student. The evaluation lesson serves as an introduction to our riding program. Welcome to Spurling’s Hidden Treasures Riding Academy! You’re new home for horseback riding lessons for adults and children ages 6 and up! I was the original horseback riding instructor of Gallberry Stables in Hope Mills, NC and have moved to my own facility with a new name!

My name is Tiffany Spurling and I have been riding Horses for over 22 years and training horses and riders alike for the better part of 14 years now. Throughout that time I have acquired my own horses that are very good with the most beginner riders to the most advanced riders.

I offer my services to beginners through advanced. I have taught many riding styles such as Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, other Speed/Fun Events, Hunter/Jumper, Show Jumping, Cross-Country/ Eventing, Equitation, and Dressage. HAUL INS FOR LESSONS ARE WELCOME!

I do not claim to be a "certified" trainer, however, I have had many people tell me they have learned more in one lesson with me than they have in a year with a "certified" trainer. In the horseworld, just because one is certified does not mean they are the most knowledgeable. Most good trainers have had a lot of experience and never think they are too old or advanced to learn something new.

I have also worked under and trained horses with Cutting Horse Champion Jerry King. However, I do not offer cutting lessons. I learned from him how to start a horse from the ground up and how to train problem horses as well with great success.

We participate in local shows and take part in events at the Carolina Horse Park and many other show venues. We have a very family friendly environment so come join us in the equestrian experience!
