King's Stables is a therapeutic equestrian center located in Wilsonville, Alabama on the King's Home campus. We service physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities as well as at risk youth, educational groups, and rehabilitation centers.

Stepping Stone Farm offers english saddleseat riding instruction for all those ages 4 and up. We provide both private and group lessons for the beginner to the advanced rider. Owning your own horse is not a requirement and you are able to compete on our horses if you desire to do so. We do things differently at GKM Equestrian, you don't just come get on a horse. You'll learn how to properly groom your horse with all the necessary steps to keep them and you looking your best. Next you will learn how to correctly and safely tack up your horse or pony. Our students are competent and knowledgeable about horse care and safety which allows their learning and riding to blossom with confidence. We are a small, dedicated professional equine facility, so we go for quality not quantity and don't crank out a lot of lessons each day. This ensures the horses' good health and a slow pace that riders can actually enjoy their lessons and get to know and love our equine athletes.
We are conveniently located to Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Inverness, Chelsea, Vestavia, Hoover, Homewood, Irondale, Trussville, Leeds and Moody. We are a 20 minute drive from downtown Birmingham. You dont have to drive 280 to get to GKM Equestrian and there is very little traffic on the quick drive out.
