For years, we have created a fun, exciting and nurturing environment for children of all ages. A place where they can experience life on a farm.

Our farm is located in the rural setting of Hunterdon County New Jersey. We have 10 acres of open land and woods where your kids can experience farm life. At Woodhedge Farm your children will learn horse safety, riding, barn management in addition to arts, crafts and swimming.

A typical lesson begins with grooming the horses and saddling up. Once we are done riding we get to give the horses a bath, and treats before turning them out for some rest and relaxation. We offer lessons to kids of all ages, and all skill level!

A typical camp day consists of morning riding, followed by some barn chores, lunch, crafts, and swimming! Your children will learn how to clean stalls, set up food, clean tack and shovel lots of manure! Before the sun goes down our campers get a second chance to ride either on our trails or in our arena.

At the young age of 8 years old Megan began riding and fell in love instantly, but by the time she was 10 was showing on the "a" circuit with some of the top trainers in the tri state area. Throughout high school Megan continued her riding career showing from Ocala Fl, to Hits NY, and even marshall and sterling finals. Once she graduated Megan gave up her amateur status and has since been working with both young horses and riders starting them from the ground up and helping them reach their goals. I have been riding Hunter/Jumpers for over 20 years and a proud owner since the age of 13. I have been teaching Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, and Dressage riding lessons and training in these disciplines for over 10 years . I pride myself in the ability to take students and/or their mounts from the absolute beginning to the peak of their talent. I thoroughly enjoy what I do as a profession and my primary focus is always SAFETY and I believe in the philosophy that the horse comes first. During the early years of my career, I worked as a show groom for many trainers. I groomed at local horse shows all the way to Devon as well as The National Horse Show. My style of riding, teaching, and showing reveals my strong sense of tradition in the Hunters and Jumpers with a base in Equitation and Dressage. I have had the great pleasure to have shown and still show at the local show series circuits such as The Sussex Benefit Series, Smokerise, and Briarwood all the way to The Garden State Horse Show as well as The New Jersey State Fair Horse Show.
