WINTER PONY CAMP now forming . December 27 and 28 from 10am to 3pm.At Half Halt Farm our number one objective is safty and fun. We learn from the ground up which includes how to tack,safty around a horse, what to do and not to do,parts of horse and of course how to ride. We have quality lesson horses and ponies. Here at Free Spirit Stables Horse & Pony Sponsorship enables an adult, child or numerous children to sponsor a horse or pony. Each person will be paired with his/her horse or pony and our farm will dedicate time and effort to teaching how to ride and care for the horse or pony properly.

Monthly Sponsorships includes a weekly Two-Hour session where our farm teaches FULL HORSE CARE which includes grooming, tacking, riding and feeding the horse or pony. We accept students from age three (3) through adult into the Program.

We have two horse shows at our farm each year, we also participate in other schooling shows. If your family or child dreams of having a horse or pony but in our back yard this is the place.

Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile off of Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Lessons: Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Our horse) Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Trailer in) Private 1 Hour: $45.00 (Student Boarder) Semi-Private and Group Lesson rates available on request. Negative Coggins required for all ship-ins. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Board includes feed, hay, stall cleaning, turn in/out, fly masks and blankets/sheets put on/changed as needed, determined by weather, not convenience. Scheduled vet, farrier, and dental appointments are also included in the board. Payment for vet, farrier, dental, hauling and *horse shows is due at time of service. Blue Mountain Farm is a quiet, privately owned facility in Frederick, Maryland, less than five minutes away from Route 340. By joining our lesson program, you will learn all aspects of horseback riding from how to safely catch and lead a horse, to proper grooming techniques, to tacking up, riding, and the things you should do after your ride.

Our horses are calm and quiet mounts, great for the beginner rider and timid riders, but they are also very well-trained and can challenge more experienced riders as well.
