Hunter Ventures is a hunter/jumper training facility for all ages and abilities. We offer a wide variety of choices in services. Full and partial board are available to fit each individual horse owners needs. Training is provided for the young, green horse as well as the "problem" horses and those wanting to go to the show ring. Lessons are for ages 4 to 84 of all riding levels, beginner through advanced. We also attend the local schooling shows through A-Level for those wanting to compete. Horses are available for sale or lease, and we will market your sale horse to the right buyer. Offering riding lessons from ages 5+. We specialize is youth riders with a program of more than 30 children. There are two trainers on site with experience in English riding ( hunters , beginners, show jumping). The barn is a "family-like" atmosphere with riders of all skill levels. Monthly hauling to shows available. We have lease horses available for qualified riders. We use scheduling links for easy access and time flexibility. Kris Di Carlo Equestrian is a full care, full training show barn located just 15 miles East of Hwy 75 in Bradenton Florida. With over 13 years experience in the Hunter/jumper show industry Kris has a handle on just what it takes to succeed and meet rider's and horse's goals. Kris has worked all over the country for top trainers in the industry, including farms in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and California. Most notably for top International rider and trainers Jenni and Steve Mc Allister in California. After working for the best Kris has finally been able to put all is knowledge to work for himself and has opened his own farm. He has produced winning riders in the show ring from ponies to even bringing a young rider victories in Grand Prixs. Being a rider himself, Kris competes regularly on the Show circuit, from baby green hunters to Grand Prix.
We offer lesson from beginner to advanced riders and all levels in between. Lease horses are also offered so the serious rider can have the experience of horse ownership without having to take the step into fully committing to owning one till the time is right. Current clients have their own horses however lesson horses are available for getting started. I attended the University of New Hampshire where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. At college I concentrated on dressage and combined training (eventing), and received my teaching certification. I have experience as a barn manager, was a volunteer for therapeutic riding, and was recently a local show judge in Lee County, FL.
